Delete your account and data

You can request deletion of your Just My Type account and personal data at any time. Deleting your account removes your public profile, private identity details, Heart Stoppers answers, Heartbeat responses, Matchprint, matches, and messages, subject to the limited retention described in our Privacy Practices.

From the app

Open the Just My Type Android app, go to Account, and choose the account deletion option. This is the fastest path while you can still sign in.

From the web

If you cannot sign in — including if your account is age-restricted — email [email protected] from the email address linked to your Google sign-in with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will confirm the request and delete your account and data. An age-restricted account can always use this path; requesting deletion does not restore any member feature.

What we keep

We retain only the minimal records needed to demonstrate legal acceptance, complete appeal and moderation obligations, and prevent fraud, as described in the Privacy Practices. Those records are never used for matching or advertising.
